The CPN-UML has demanded that the government take stringent action possible against those involved in the act of arson at the party’s office in Parasi bazaar of Ram Gram municipality in Nawalparasi. Condemning the incident, a statement issued by party secretary Pradip Gyawali calls for identification of the group involved and action against the guilty. The office was set ablaze by an unidentified group on Wednesday night. Meanwhile, the sister organisatons of the UML continued to stage demonstration in the capital in protest against the constitution amendment bill.
