President Biday Devi Bhandari has pressed for incorporating technical education in the community school, especially in the rural areas. Addressing a programme organized by Mahendra Secondary School at Itahara-2 in Morang district on Saturday to mark its 50th anniversary, President Bhandari insisted that the education determines the development of any country. Bhandari was of the confidence that Nepal would make economic stride provided the rich natural resources in the country are optimally utilized. The President, who herself is a student of the community school, underscored capable teachers and adequate physical infrastructure for upgrading quality of education in such schools. She highlighted the need for special action-plan among Regional Education Directorate, District Education Offices and other stakeholders for enhancing quality of education in schools in rural areas.
