Madhesi Morcha has objected the agreement forged, in principle, by the major three parties to keep the constitution amendment bill inactive in order to create an environment for polls. Reports of the top leaders of three major parties agreeing, in principle, to hold local elections by April-May in a bid to break the political deadlock surfaced on Tuesday; prompting the Morcha to hold internal discussions. The Morcha leaders have sought meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Wednesday to determine the authenticity of the reports. A meeting of the top Madhesi Morcha leaders is underway at Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party office in Bijulibazar, Kathmandu. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal had invited the top leaders at Baluwatar yesterday to discuss political situation and seek a way out to present crisis. The amendment bill, registered by the government on November 29, has widened rift between the governing and opposition parties. - See more at: http://www.lightnepalvdo.com/videos/the-constitution-amendment-bill-inactive/#sthash.s8GfNljf.dpuf
